I have decades of experience on both sides of the Atlantic in the deadline-oriented fields of publishing and advertising as a proofreader, copy editor, editor, managing editor, writer, and even an art director. I'm fully conversant in both Chicago and AP styles, as well as being able to quickly adapt to proprietary client and house styles. I have extensive experience editing legal/compliance copy in financial services (banking, insurance, investments, etc.), employee benefits, healthcare/medtech, and education (edtech, higher education, corporate and K-12 training materials, and online course content at all levels). I worked as a writer and editor in London for nearly eight years, and am proficient in British English localization editing.
